Allegheny Highlands Botanical Art Society (AHBAS) is a chapter of the American Society of Botanical Artists (ASBA). National membership in ASBA is required for local chapter membership in AHBAS.

​Both organizations are open to all individuals who have an appreciation for botanical art. Membership to ASBA and AHBAS are available through the ASBA website at https://www.asba-art.org/membership

AHBAS (Allegheny Highlands Botanical Art Society Chapter) membership includes:
        Note: Some of these activities are currently canceled or modified to comply with health  and safety guidelines.

•  Monthly open studio sessions providing inspiration and collaboration with other local botanical artists
• Field trips, workshops and other social and educational events
• Opportunities to display your work in local exhibits and galleries
• Private viewings of historical and contemporary botanical art at the Hunt Institute

and ASBA (American Society of Botanical Artists) benefits include:

• A subscription to The Botanical Artist, a quarterly journal
• A copy of the Annual Directory of Members

Members are also eligible to:

• Enter ASBA exhibitions
• Attend the Annual Meeting & Conference
• Display your artwork in the online Member Gallery
• Apply for ASBA Artist & Education Grants
• Announce your exhibitions and workshops
